Structure of the Wyville-Thomson Ridge (preparing for EAGE 2018 in Copenhagen)
Bennett Haworth (ARK-CLS) and I have been putting the finishing touches to our talk on the structure of the Wyville-Thomson Ridge, which Bennett will be presenting at the EAGE conference in Copenhagen. The talk will be on Thursday morning (14th June), but we’ll both be present for the whole conference. If you’d like to find out more about the project, or chat to me about integrating and interpreting different geological and geophysical datasets to achieve a more robust and de

A quick trip to Oslo to talk about the structural development of the SW Barents Shelf
I’ve just returned from a very snowy Oslo, where I was visiting clients with Richard Whittaker (GeoArctic). This was a final meeting to deliver a project that has taken almost 2 years. Using seismic and borehole imaging data, I produced a fault interpretation for part a structurally complex high on the SW Barents Shelf. Cross-cutting relationships between faults, fractures and seismic horizons were used to get a better understanding of the structural development of the region
