ExAID: Rockall Trough (available for free)

The Exploration focussed Assessment of Interpretations and Data (ExAID) for the Rockall Trough is a project produced with seed funding awarded to Astute Geoscience as part of the UK Oil and Gas Authority’s (OGA) 2016 Exploration License competition.

The project contains a synthesis of new and legacy gravity, magnetic, seismic and well data covering parts of the Rockall Trough, released by the OGA in 2016. We used the data to identify conflicts between different datasets and existing interpretations. Our synthesis provided the basis for a new GIS-based interpretation of the structural framework of the Rockall Trough and adjacent areas.

The ExAID project report and GIS database are available for free. Contact

for details.
